The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) will provide a list of potential providers considered capable of carrying out minor works to a satisfactory standard valued up to £800,000 (although some projects may exceed this value). It will not include routine planned maintenance which is covered by the Measured Term Contract and is procured separately.

The nature and types of services that may be required may include, but are not limited to, those services identified by the CPV code and summarised in section II.2.

Works with a value below £50,000 will be competed via Delta’s Quick Call facility. Approved Suppliers from the DPS will be added to a Contract List broken down into categories which relate to their specific trade. Some contractors may fall into several categories.

Please note the date given of 14/09/22 at IV.2.2) (Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate) is for initial applications and the DPS will accept applications after this date

It is the intention of the Council to utilise the NEC or the JCT suite of contracts for the execution of the works. Each project will be looked at on an individual basis and details will be found under each Call-Off competition.

Specific requirements for individual contract conditions procured under the DPS cannot be clearly defined at this stage but full details will be available at Stage 2 via the Call-Off competitions and associated documents. Contract conditions may relate in particular to social & environmental considerations. Where appropriate & depending on requirements these will be included in subsequent Call-Offs.
