Abstract

WWRT are seeking to appoint an appropriately experienced organisation to install a baffle (wooden baulk) fish pass to existing designs on the Fferws Brook, a tributary of the Afon Loughor near to Pantyfynnon, Carmarthenshire. All consenting has been carried out – both temporary and permanent works Ordinary Watercourse Consents have been received for this project. All access permissions arrangements will be coordinated by WWRT. The necessary vegetation clearance to allow machinery access has been carried out in advance on a separate contract. Therefore, this work requires the practical delivery of the fish pass only. Please see supporting information for more detail and designs.
