The London's Violence Reduction Unit ("VRU") are interested in the influence of wider school structures and culture, and systemic and structural harms that might put young people at risk of harm and abuse- such as racism and such discriminatory nature of 'adultification bias.'
The VRU are committed to encouraging partnerships and innovative practice in preventing and reducing violence and are seeking a provider to pilot an approach that better integrates contextual safeguarding and culturally sensitive support and develop resources to support wide scaling of best practice across London- as well as influencing national practice.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The London's Violence Reduction Unit ("VRU") are interested in the influence of wider school structures and culture, and systemic and structural harms that might put young people at risk of harm and abuse- such as racism and such discriminatory nature of 'adultification bias.'
The VRU are committed to encouraging partnerships and innovative practice in preventing and reducing violence and are seeking a provider to pilot an approach that better integrates contextual safeguarding and culturally sensitive support and develop resources to support wide scaling of best practice across London- as well as influencing national practice.
The provider(s) will;
Deliver support to children affected by extra familial harms within educational settings- within 1:1 and group settings
Create resources and training on the connection between Contextual Safeguarding and culturally sensitive practice to disseminate widely across partners in London
Create resources so that systems change reaches wider policy and practice.
Develop resources to support wider scaling of contextually and culturally safe school contexts
To be eligible for these funds the provider(s) must;
Have demonstratable experience delivering culturally sensitive support within educational settings in London
Have demonstratable experience delivering support to children and young people affected by violence and contextual harms
Have demonstratable experience delivering whole school interventions, including to teachers, leadership teams, safeguarding leads and governing teams
Have demonstratable experience in developing learning resources, and strategies for disseminating widely
