Abstract

The contractor is to transport Card and Paper. The contract shall be effective from no later than 5th August 2022 to 8th August 2024 with a possible extension of two, one year periods, upon satisfactory service delivery as deemed by the Council.

The Council shall deliver all waste to Knutton Lane Depot, Knutton Lane, Newcastle, ST5 2SL for the contractor to provide suitable licensed onward transportation to the Councils designated treatment facility(s).

To provide:-

Transport from Knutton Lane, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 2SL to end processer / disposal point.

The Contractor shall maintain a certified system for recording weights of waste delivered to the treatment site which is approved by Staffordshire County Council. A weighbridge ticket shall be issued for each delivery. A copy of the ticket together with a summary sheet showing the tickets issued for each working day shall be provided to the Council within 7 days of the end of each accounting period.

All material must be removed from site within 2 days (48 hours) from the Council’s request.

The container(s) provided by the contractor must be capable of storing the material in accordance with Environment Agency Licensing requirements.

Provision of Containers and Transportation of Litter, Bulky Waste, Green Waste:

The contractor is to supply containers (either 35 or 50 cubic metres) and transportation. The contract shall be effective from no later than 5th August 2022 to 8th August 2024 with a possible extension of two, One year periods, upon satisfactory service delivery as deemed by the Council.

The Council shall deliver all waste to its Knutton Lane Depot, Knutton Lane, Newcastle, ST5 2SL for the contractor to provide suitable and sufficient on site storage and licensed onward transportation to the Councils designated treatment facility(s).

1.1 To provide:-

Containers for Litter, Bulky items and Green waste.

Transport from Knutton Lane, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 2SL to end processer / disposal point.

The Contractor shall maintain a certified system for recording weights of waste delivered to the treatment site which is approved by Staffordshire County Council.
