II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The overall aim of the Service is to provide inclusive and holistic support to Service users with mental health conditions helping them to maintain their quality of life and enhance their capacity to maintain their health and wellbeing through the provision of a range of person centred, coordinated and outcome focused Services.
The Service shall comprise the following elements:
• A Day Opportunities Centre.
• Provision of a drop-in service six times per week for a maximum of two hours per day including evenings and weekends.
• Outreach work to promote social inclusion through a range of group activities that are community-based moving towards making Service users more independent and encouraging them to develop their own social networks.
• Information, advice, guidance and signposting to help adults with mental health issues to make more informed choices.
• Support with emotional and mental health issues including stress, anxiety and hoarding.

Description of renewals:
The Contract shall commence on 1 November 2024 and, subject to satisfactory performance, shall operate for a period of one (1) year, terminating at midnight on 31 October 2025 (“the Contract Period”). At the sole discretion of the Authority and subject to the satisfactory performance of the Provider, the Contract Period may be extended in such period or periods as the Authority deems appropriate up further one year (12 months) followed up by a further one year (12 months), providing a possible total Contract Period until midnight on 31 October 2027.
