Additional Information

DTA Wales (dtawales.org.uk) seeks consultancy support to design, build and deliver services through the Egin programme to help community organisations make their buildings more energy efficient.

Egin (egin.org.uk) is a programme led by DTA Wales that aims to unlock the collective power of communities in Wales to take their first steps in tackling climate change and becoming more sustainable. It is funded by the Dormant Assets Scheme which is managed by the National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF). It launched in Feb 2023 and is funded until 2029.

Beneficiaries of Egin support can include organisations seeking to make their community building more energy efficient and potentially generate their own renewable energy.

TNLCF offers Egin Grants of up to £15k to groups who have received Egin support to help turn their climate action ideas into reality.

From September 2025 DTA Wales will be providing an online Community Building Hub to offer helpful resources and knowledge sharing, in the first instance around energy efficiency measures that groups can take, including those unable to obtain an energy audit.
