The current Contract 2301678, Lot 3 Fire Safety Training is to be extended by a further 18 months, utilising the full 18 month extension period available under the Terms and Conditions of Contract. This extension period may be utilised where the renewal procurement exercise is not completed in full or in part prior to the end of the Contract Period due to delay or abandonment. This Modification Notice is to inform the market that the contracts outlined earlier may be extended by up to 18 months over and above the duration stated in Section II.2.7.

VII.2.1) Description of the modifications
The current Contract 2301678, Lot 3 Fire Safety Training is to be extended by a further 18 months, utilising the full 18 month extension period available under the Terms and Conditions of Contract. VII.2.2) Reasons for modification
Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee
Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:
This modification is being made under the provisions set out in Regulation 72 (1) (c) (i), (ii) and (iii). Unforeseen circumstances have resulted in the renewal procurement exercise not being completed prior to the end of the current contract period. An extension is therefore required to maintain continuity of service and contractual cover while the tender process is concluded.
