The procurement falls outside the scope of application of the Directive
Explanation
The Trust is awarding a 24-month contract to C the Signs via the G-Cloud 14 Framework. The solution was originally procured and selected by the ICB through a compliant procurement process, and the Trust is continuing with the established platform to maintain consistency across the wider health system and avoid unnecessary disruption.
C the Signs supports earlier cancer detection by helping clinicians identify patients at risk of cancer and make appropriate referrals. The contract also includes pre-costed optional modules that may be activated during the term for Bladder, Testicular, Head & Neck, Pancreatic and Prostate cancers.
The award provides a compliant route to market, delivers value for money, and supports the Trust's objective of improving cancer outcomes through earlier diagnosis.
