Abstract
Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced catering operators for the lease and operation of the café at the National Park Visitor Centre, Libanus, near Brecon. This is an exciting opportunity to operate a well-established hospitality business within one of Wales’ premier visitor destinations, welcoming approximately 80,000 visitors each year. The successful operator will be responsible for delivering a high-quality food and beverage offer that enhances the visitor experience, reflects the special qualities of the National Park and operates in a commercially sustainable and environmentally responsible manner. The opportunity includes a five-year lease of the café premises, comprising a fully equipped commercial kitchen, internal seating for approximately 90 covers and external seating for approximately 120 covers, with additional opportunities for events, meetings and external catering services.

Minimum standards and qualification required
Economic and Financial Standing: Tenderers must demonstrate financial stability appropriate to the scale of the opportunity. Evidence may include audited accounts, management accounts, bank references or other financial information.
Technical and Professional Ability: Tenderers must demonstrate relevant experience in operating café, catering or hospitality businesses of a similar scale and nature. Tenderers must be capable of meeting all food safety, health and safety, insurance, Welsh Language and legal compliance requirements associated with the operation of the café at the National Park Visitor Centre.
