Abstract

Trearddur Community Council is seeking tenders from experienced playground contractors to supply and install inclusive play equipment and safety surfaces at Lon Isallt Playing Field, Trearddur Bay, Anglesey LL65 2UN. The site is a coastal location subject to high-salinity marine air, strong winds, and sand abrasion each item must therefore be made of suitable materials. The equipment and associated works should meet the BSEN1176 and BSEN1177 standards and be aimed at younger children and be accessible for children with disabilities. With that in mind our preference would be for an inclusive roundabout, a see-saw or rocker, and tactile panels or musical items. Due to time constraints the work must be completed before 30 November 2026.
