Abstract

The subject matter of this OJEU Notice is the grant of an offshore transmission licence to a successful bidder for the purpose of connecting a wind farm to the GB onshore grid. The successful bidder has entered into a transfer agreement (alternatively referred to as a ‘Sale and Purchase Agreement’ or ‘SPA’) for the offshore transmission assets with the developer and will maintain and operate the assets in accordance with industry licences, codes, standards and agreements. In addition to being granted the offshore transmission licence, the successful bidder has entered into a range of agreements including with the relevant generator, any relevant distribution network owner and the NETSO.
