Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

SGN own and operate four Scottish Independent Undertakings (SIU's) which are not connected to the main gas distribution system and supplied by LNG via road tankers. To support this operation SGN are looking to procure a supplier to carry out gas Shipper obligations for the supply of gas into these networks. This will be achieved by the purchase, ownership and nomination of gas into each of these networks located in Campbeltown, Oban, Thurso and Wick.

Due to UK gas Transporter Licence restrictions SGN require a registered UK shipper to undertake the following activities:

— Purchase of LNG from a supplier of LNG at an SGN approved terminal;

— Ownership of the LNG whilst it travels by truck and is stored within tanks one each of the SIU's (LNG will be under the control of SGN);

— Nomination into the associated LDZ for each SIU location in line with the Uniform Network Code.

Due to availability of required systems and limitations of logistics SGN's approved terminals are limited to:

1.Gate Terminal, Rotterdam.

2. Fluxys Terminal, Zeebrugge.

3. National Grid Isle of Grain Terminal, Kent.

SGN envisage requiring the provision of UK shipper services under this notice up until end April 2016.

SGN would welcome a response for providing UK Shipper services for the supply and nomination of Gas to the Scottish Independent Undertakings including the purchase of LNG from commercial terminals.
