Tenders are being sought to provide kennelling services in relation to stray dogs received by the Council's appointed Stray Dog Collection Service (see separate tender).
Contractors are invited to bid for:
1. The provision of adequate kennelling facilities for the kennelling and rehoming of stray dogs which have either been collected by the Council's Dog Collection Service or found by members of the public.
The Council will require a guarantee for 12 months for any work undertaken.
The contract length is 3 years with the option to extend for an additional 1 year and then another 1 year.

Ashfield District Council (hereafter referred to as ‘the Council’) is located in northwest Nottinghamshire. The Council District covers the towns of Sutton in Ashfield and Kirkby in Ashfield to the north, Hucknall to the south, and numerous villages and rural locations.
Tenders are being sought to provide kennelling services in relation to stray dogs received by the Council's appointed Stray Dog Collection Service (see separate tender).
Contractors are invited to bid for:

Precise information on deadline(s) for review procedures:
Bassetlaw District Council will incorporate a minimum ten (10) calendar days standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Applicants have two (2) working days from the notification of the award decision to request additional debriefing and that information has too be provided a minimum of three (3) working days before the expiry of the standstill period. Such additional information should be required from the contact details provided in section 1.1) of this notice. If an appeal regarding the award of the contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought promptly (generally within three (3) months. Where a contract has not been entered into the Court may order the setting aside of the award decision or order the authority to amend any document and may award damages. If the contract has been entered into the Court may only award damages. The purpose of the standstill period referred to above is to allow parties to apply to the Courts to set aside the award decision before the contract is entered into.
