This tender is for consultancy services for a project manager/main consultant and a sub-consultant multi-disciplinary design team for the design and administration of the construction contract for the Bradford North Sports Facility. The closure, demolition and marketing/disposal or otherwise of facilities declared surplus by the Council as a result of its investment are outside the scope of this contract.
The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, ‘the Employer’ is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified project manager/main consultant, ‘the Consultant’ who will provide and manage a sub-consultant multi-disciplinary team, comprising the minimum core services of an architect, quantity surveyor, building services engineer, and structural and civil engineer, plus all other specialist designers, and consultant advisors for completion of surveys and impact assessments.
The health and safety advisor/principle designer service (under the CDM Regulations 2015) will be provided directly by the Employer. The health and safety advisor/principal designer will work with the multi-disciplinary team taking instruction from the Consultant as necessary.
