The services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason: absence of competition for technical reasons
Explanation
NHS Merton CCG had contracted with Merton Health (local GP Federation) to facilitate extended patient access times to Primary Care Services across Merton as delivered by local General Practices. The service ensures compliance with NHS England requirements to extend access between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Existing arrangements for a 6 month service is being extended by a further 6 months through this interim contract, to ensure continuity of these essential services being delivered from 2 local Primary Care Access Hubs.
