The Home Care Service in Salford will ensure that people have timely access to high-quality home care which is person-centered to the needs of the individual to meet assessed-need.
The Home Care Service will operate within a five neighborhood model with the intention that Providers will develop knowledge of the local community and assets.

IV.1.11) Main features of the award procedure:
The procurement procedure will be undertaken in accordance with the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contract Regulations.
It is envisaged that a maximum of 10 candidates across all lots/contracts will be shortlisted for the second stage of the process (Invitation to Tender).
The authority reserves the right to invite additional candidates where there is insufficient competition for any particular lot/contract.
