The scheme will be designed to RIBA Stage 3 and it is anticipated that all planning approvals will be in place before contract execution. The requirement is for a Main Contractor, and the scheme will comprise an “older persons” assisted living apartment block containing; 30 No. one bedroom two-person apartments with a minimum internal floor space of 55 m2, and 15 No. two-bedroom, three-person apartments with a minimum internal floor space of 70 m2, to people over 55 years of age. The block shall incorporate a staff office, meeting room, communal lounge, café with catering kitchen and dining area (can be linked to outside provider) and a laundry room. The apartment block shall also include mobility buggy store/charging room and landscaped grounds and gardens. The accommodation allows residents to have access to communal space and on-site support whilst offering greater levels of independence within their own individual space.
