Abstract

The Trust is looking for 1 provider to carry out the maintenance, repair and installation of CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Door Access Controls (although the Trust does reserve the right to use an alternative provider, should it see fit, for supply and installation of new equipment over and above the items on the asset lists provided).

During the contract period Northampton General Hospital and NHFT may wish to access the agreement and add their equipment to the schedules, there is no information at this time regarding numbers or types of equipment.

The Trust currently uses Time and Data Solutions International (TDSi) equipment therefore all equipment offered must be compatible and work with this system.

The Trust currently uses the NetView Observer Software Program therefore all equipment offered must compatible and work with this system

The Trust requires 1 annual preventive maintenance visit on all equipment.

The Trust requires an annual audit of all equipment and creation of a full equipment schedule in a format agreed by the Trust and this must be updated yearly.

Department drawings to be copied and marked up with alarm, camera, controller, mag lock and reader etc. locations, a hard copy and electronic version must be issued to the Trust upon completion.

Waste disposal of equipment:

Any existing equipment removed must be disposed of correctly by the contractor off site and in accordance with the Trust Waste Policy. The Trust must be informed of all equipment that is being taken disposed with serial numbers before it is taken off site. Also the Trust will have the right to retain any equipment they see fit.

Training:

Annual training/refresher sessions must be included for up 10 KGH Estates/HR staff members.

Telephone support as required when necessary.

Warranties:

The Trust will require a 24 month warranties on all new installations.

Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a TDSi Platinum certificated installer to carry out maintenance and repair of Security Equipment (CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Door Access Controls). This contract may also include installation of new equipment although no volumes or values can be guaranteed for repairs and installations. The Trust also reserves the right to use other providers for additional equipment and its installation eg change of building use or new buildings. Replacement of existing equipment that is in need of repair/replacement does not come into the category of additional equipment and is covered by this contract.

This contract is open to use by Northampton General Hospital and Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust both have similar profiles to KGH but no details are available on their requirements at present (estimated value for Kettering 600 000 GBP extra value-added to estimated total value in case of NGH and NHFT requirement to join agreement).
