II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Southern electric power distribution plc requires a supplier to undertake the comprehensive vegetation management of all its substation sites within the Wessex, South East, and Ridgeway regions.
The supplier will be required to:
1) Plan its own programme to ensure each site is visited 3 times per year between April and November;
2) Provide its own tools, chemicals and permits, PPE, vehicle, etc. The employer will not provide any items to the supplier other than passes and keys to access each site;
3) Provide all the necessary information as required in the scope of work document;
4) Adhere to the employer’s SHE specification and responsible procurement charter to be included as part of the contract.
