Explanation
This requirement falls under the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016. The original PIN 2019/S 153-377215 requested expressions of interest for 4 lots:
— Lot 1: Belfast Castle,
— Lot 2: Malone House,
— Lot 3: The Stables, and
— Lot 4: Belfast Zoo.
Following issuing of the invitation to tender to the economic operators who expressed an interest for all lots there were no bids received for Lot 4 Belfast Zoo. There was therefore justification to use the negotiated procedure in this instance.

In response to the original Prior Information Notice 2019/S 153-377215 there were no bids received for Lot 4 Belfast Zoo. This notice is in accordance with Reg 32 of the Public Contracts Regulations to explain the use of the negotiated procedure without prior publication in this instance.
