II.1.4) Short description
Octavia Housing wishes to contract with a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to deliver a programme of reinvestment works. The proposed contract term is intended to be for an initial term of 10 years with a performance review and satisfaction break clause at the end of year 5. Thereafter Octavia intend to extend the contract for further terms of 2 years subject to satisfactory performance up to a maximum term of 20 years (5 + 5 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2). The decision to extend or determine the contract at these points will be at the sole discretion of the client.
The contract will be awarded to a single contractor under the ACA standard form of contract for term partnering 2005 amended 2008 with a schedule of amendments.
