Description of the contract
Since taking over the franchise from Arriva Trains Wales, we have inherited various inconsistent maps. Our objective is to improve customer experience with mapping that is easy to understand, clear and concise whilst communication complex information.
We want you to produce innovative maps to replace our acquired selection from Arriva. We would like you to become our map guardians and to maintain version control of all our maps. The primary use of these maps is to help the public understand more about the services we provide.
Maps required include;
• Network map – schematic and geographical
• Timetable route specific maps
• Core South Wales Valley Lines maps - schematic and geographical
• Accessibility map with more detail on step-free access at stations
• Partnership maps e.g. Cadw, GLTow, TrawsCymru etc
• Local area street maps for each of our 247 stations
• Maps to be featured on the Useful Information posters at stations including Rail Replacement bus locations.
• Maps for other areas of the business e.g. Active travel
