Abstract
The Cluster for Epigenomics and Antibody drug conjugate (ADC) Therapeutics (CEAT) is a GBP 2.6m project, led by the Reproductive Biology and Gynaecological Oncology (RBGO) group at Swansea University Medical School and is aimed at developing new therapeutics for the treatment of ovarian cancer.
A key output of the CEAT project is to establish a developmental pipeline for clinically acceptable monovalent ADCs (Antibody Drug Conjugates). As part of the project, 1 ADC has been developed and is ready, whilst a further 2 are currently under development and will be ready for follow up later next year. This procurement therefore covers the requirement for all 3 ADCs to undergo in-vivo tissue distribution and toxicology studies, in order to understand the suitability of these drugs in an in-vivo setting.
This service is to be carried out at the supplier organisation, and resulting products and research outputs are to be received by the RBGO group at Swansea University Singleton Campus.
Due to the sensitive nature of the project is essential that this contract be awarded to a single supplier and not split across a number of suppliers.
