Walsall Council in collaboration with Sandwell Council and Dudley Council (referenced jointly as ‘the Councils’) are seeking bids from parties suitably experienced, qualified and resourced to provide mortuary and pathology services which includes coronial post mortem work, management of bodies and storage/viewing provision relating to deaths occurring in Walsall Borough, Sandwell Borough and the Borough of Dudley. It is the Council’s intention to divide provision of mortuary facilities and pathology services requirements into three (3) lots as follows:
• Lot 1: Walsall Council,
• Lot 2: Sandwell Council,
• Lot 3: Dudley Council.
The Council reserves the right to award one or more lots to the same contractor; however each lot must be priced independent of each other.
