Abstract
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service on behalf of Wales’s Fire and Rescue Services are seeking tenders from suppliers to develop an intervention programme which can be delivered to young people aged 9 to 16 years throughout Wales.
The Fire Service offers a unique opportunity in relation to the provision of youth interventions as it is a recognised and trusted uniformed public service which offers recognisable role models. The Wales FRS’s each have dedicated community safety staff with both operational experience and youth qualifications who are able to utilise their knowledge and experience to engage with young people.
The Wales FRS’s are seeking to work with a provider with experience in writing and developing early intervention programmes for young people aged 9 to 16 years.
