County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation trust sourced and acquired equipment to support the care of patients, but did not issue a prior publication of a call for competition in the official journal of the European Union, due to extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable by the Trust. This was in accordance with the conditions stated in Regulation 32 (2)(c) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
