Gwynedd Council Surface Dressing Hire of Vehicles with Operator and Equipment

Description of the goods or services required

Gwynedd Council are inviting tenders for a framework for the provision of Surface Dressing Vehicles with operator and Equipment for the period of 01/05/2021 to 30/04/2023 with a possible extension of up to 1 year + 1year, subject to agreement by both parties.

Gwynedd Council’s Highways and Municipal Service wishes to arrange a framework agreement for Surface Dressing Vehicles and Equipment. The attached schedules specifies the types of services and goods required and details the calling off arrangements within the 3 designated geographical areas.

The Services have been divided into the following work packages (Lots):

(i) Diesel Bowser and Multi wheeled Roller – (Hire only)

(ii) Low Loaders and Lorries 4 Wheeler, 6 Wheeler and 8 Wheeler with operator

(iii) Sweeper with Operator

Each Lot; (i) to (iii), will be separated into further geographical lots comprising of:

D Dwyfor Area

M Meirionnydd Area

Total quantity or scope of tender

We estimate the value of the entire Services and Supplies over 2years with the option to extend for a further 1year + 1year framework agreement to be approximately £160,000 per year.
