The information obtained from these surveys is used to improve victim satisfaction with the Police. User satisfaction surveys were previously a mandatory requirement for all forces; however since mandation has ceased, forces are still expected to contact victims of crime and act on their feedback, recognising that an excellent victim-led service is a key component of forces performance frameworks and strategies.
