Abstract

The University of Wolverhampton has awarded a contract to facilitate the recording and monitoring of Student’s attendance. The system is capable of managing with the existing 22 000 Full Person Equivalent (FPE) students as well as scale for increased usage in the future. From the user’s perspective, this will take the form of an app they will be invited to install on their own personal smart device (phone, tablet etc) or a browser-based application.

Procurement has been concluded and a period of design, implementation and testing/debugging will take place in Q1/Q2 2021. The solution is expected to be rolled out and fully live for all students across all campuses by the start of the 2021/22 academic year.

Due to the technical nature for this requirement, this contract was not split into lots as this could seriously risk undermining the proper execution of the contract.
