Social Care Wales have been developing a strategic approach to social care data in collaboration with Welsh Government and other partners. We want to make better use of data to bring about the best possible outcomes for those who receive care and support services.
Aims and objectives
We are looking for a Supplier to assist us in assessing the data that is collected and processed by Social Care Wales so that we are able to maximise the potential use of this data to promote the efficient and effective operational and strategic objectives of Social Care Wales in a safe, ethical and responsible way.
The output of this work will be a report outlining the findings of your discovery work and a set of recommendations as to how Social Care Wales can improve their use of data now and with an eye on the future.
What is required / ‘The Requirements’
Knowledge and experience that would be beneficial to this role are:
- Expert knowledge of data and analysis
- Expert knowledge of business intelligence and the best use of organisa-tional data in decision making
- Expert knowledge of data technologies
- Methodical and organised and able to work to deadlines
- Ability to communicate technical matters in an accessible (Plain English) format
- Knowledge and experience of information governance and data ethics
- Familiarity with the regulatory processes that govern the work of Social Care Wales will be helpful
