II.2.4) Description of the procurement
NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (referred to as the Commissioner) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to express their interest in delivering the Community Surgery Scheme Service(s) under an Any Qualified Provider (AQP) framework, by responding to this opportunity as required. NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) is acting as an agent for and on behalf of the Commissioner and is supporting the procurement process. <br/><br/>The key objectives of the AQP process are to identify providers who can deliver the key aims of the service which is to provide an accessible, comprehensive and confidential assessment and treatment service for certain conditions which can be treated in a safe and effective way via surgery in the community for all patients over the age of 16 (except patients referred for a Vasectomy who need to be over the age of 18). The service will cover a range of specialties including orthopaedic, dermatology, ophthalmic, general surgery, podiatry, gynaecology and urology.<br/><br/>The contract is awarded on a zero value, zero volume basis.
