This invitation to tender opportunity is to invite interested suppliers to bid for a single supplier contract for the Provision of Vehicle Insurance for NHS Ambulance Services to commence 1 April 2023.<br/><br/>The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub (EOECPH) is facilitating the process via its e-tendering portal on behalf of the contracting authorities (as detailed in section 11.2.4) and Marsh, the contracting authorities insurance broker, who are managing the procurement process on behalf of the contracting authorities.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Expressions of interest & tenders are invited from insurers or managing agents acting on behalf of specific insurers, not brokers or equivalents.<br/><br/>The Authorities are procuring a single supplier contract through a collaborative procurement, which will result in each authority signing its own contract, based on the collaborative tender.<br/><br/>The contract awarded will have an initial duration of 3 years with the option to<br/>extend by 1 year.<br/><br/>The following benefits will be delivered:<br/>• Providing a procurement compliant route to market for UK Ambulance Services;<br/>• Provide a competitive and fit for purpose contract;<br/>• Provide opportunities and associated benefits from aggregating spend and standardising<br/>terms;<br/>• Pool and reduce risk across Ambulance Services;<br/>• Support risk / accident reduction and share best practice;<br/>• Drive cash releasing savings for reinvestment in front line services;<br/>• Professionally managing the procurement and subsequent contract(s).<br/><br/>The primary beneficiaries (contracting authorities) will be United Kingdom ambulance services as<br/>detailed below:<br/>• South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust<br/>• South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust<br/>• South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust<br/>• London Ambulance Service NHS Trust<br/>• East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust<br/>• East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust<br/>• Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust<br/>• North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust<br/>• North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust<br/>• West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust<br/>• Scottish Ambulance Service Board<br/><br/>EOECPH is facilitating the process through its e-procurement portal on behalf of the contracting authorities (for absolute clarity EOECPH nor Marsh are the contracting authority these are as detailed above) and Marsh, the contracting authorities insurance broker who are managing the procurement process on behalf of the contracting authorities. <br/><br/>The procurement will use an e-Procurement Portal in this procurement exercise.<br/>https://atamis-1928.1ightning.force.com/<br/><br/>Deadline for submission of bids is 20 January 2023 at 17.00
