South Ayrshire Council on behalf of South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership (SAHSCP) is undertaking a market scoping exercise, under Regulation 41 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, seeking notes of interest from experienced Providers (with at least 5 years’ experience of delivering a similar service).

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
It is recognised that early and effective intervention can reduce and prevent violence and maximise the safety and wellbeing of women, children, and young people with this being achieved by the Provision of Refuge and Outreach Support for Women and Children experiencing Domestic Abuse.
This specialist resource will provide refuge accommodation, advocacy, outreach, emotional support, practical advice and information to women, children and young people, and awareness raising and training.
This support aims to achieve the following:
-Women and children are safe and can protect themselves from domestic abuse.
-Women are able to manage their own and their children’s health and wellbeing.
-Women and children are in good quality accommodation that meets their needs.
-Women have developed a good support network within their own community.
-Women are able to take control of decisions affecting their lives and feel confident and positive.
-Women have the necessary skills for education, training, and employment.
-Reduce associated stigma.
