Abstract

Hillingdon is looking to appoint the services of an experienced Service Provider to deliver a disability employment preparation project with targeted outcomes and outputs by commencement when practicable (ideally by 1st March 2024, however by the 14th March 2024)

In April 2022 the UK government launched the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). The UKSPF is a central pillar of the UK government's Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment across the UK by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK, investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.

In July 2022 the Greater London Authority (‘GLA) submitted its UKSPF Investment Plan for London to UK government. The UKSPF Investment Plan sets out the GLA’s intention to award London boroughs and sub regional partnerships (SRPs) a direct allocation of UKSPF funding for the investment priorities Communities and Place, Supporting Local Business and People and Skills.

This procurement project falls under the ‘People and Skills’ element with the activity for employment support for unemployed and economically inactive adults.

The Contract will be for a term ending on the 31st March 2025. (the Term), with an optional extension of up to 3 years dependent on Contract performance and future funding.

The maximum budget is £95,000 per annum
