Abstract

Consultancy services are required to support the Green Bus Routes Project team in taking the improvement of the Green Bus Route 53 through to an approved Full Business Case (FBC), a completed detailed design and preparation of tenders for construction. The 53-bus route has been prioritised for investment. The commission has been split into key tasks; 1 to 4 forming the critical path through the project, and 5 to 7 requiring input across the life of the project, as follows:

1. Analysis and validation of existing work (1 month)

2. Preliminary design (9 months)

3. Detailed design (6 months)

4. Tender support (2 months)

5. Business Case development

6. Public and stakeholder engagement

7. Optional tasks, including modelling and appraisal
