Southend-on-Sea City Council ("the Council") is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified Doctors who are able to carry out Best Interest Assessments under the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Section 12 to join a DPS.
This Provider List is to enable the Council to source a sufficient number of qualified Section 12 Doctors who can carry out Best Interest Assessments under the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
This notice is to reopen the DPS, on 1st June 2018 a contract notice was placed on OJEU with the reference 237709-2018-EN to establish the DPS and Approved List (APL).
Please note this opportunity is for new providers to join the list, and existing providers do not need to reapply.
