YPO is a Local Authority owned national public buying organisation operating since 1974 from our Wakefield Headquarters. YPO operates a market leading education supplies business with turnover circa £115 Million on average each year, plus a Framework Services business offering approaching 100 Frameworks including ICT, Energy, HR, Fleet and FM Solutions with consolidated spend upwards of £1 Billion.
YPO are looking to conduct a series of engagement activities with potential suppliers for the purchase and hire of plant machinery and associated products. The next stage of the project is to engage with suppliers by issuing this PIN. YPO are looking for suppliers who would be interested in participating in market research and/or having a conversation with us, please register your interest by contacting us at fleet@ypo.co.uk .This is to ensure that there are no gaps in the potential service scope and that our intended model is deliverable, sustainable and future proofed.
YPO have had a Framework Agreement in place since 2020 for the provision of plant purchase and hire. We are looking to establish if this is still relevant and if any improvement could be made.
This framework is due to expire March 2024, the next stage of the project is to engage with suppliers by issuing this PIN. YPO are looking for suppliers who would be interested participating in market research and/or having a conversation with us, please register your interest by contacting us at fleet@ypo.co.uk .This is to ensure that there are no gaps in the potential service scope and that our intended model is deliverable, sustainable and future proofed.

YPO will incorporate a standstill period at the point of notification of the award of the contract
is provided to all bidders. The standstill period will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, and
provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract
is entered into. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who
have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High
Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).”
