Abstract
Hywel Dda University Health Board (“HDUHB”) have awarded a contract for the provision of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (“RAAC”) site inspection surveys across the specific premises within the Health Board estate. The contract is designed to facilitate detailed site inspection surveys across specific premises within HDUHBs estate that have been identified as potentially containing RAAC. The aim of the requirement is to confirm the interventions required in the short term, and inform the RAAC management plan in the medium term. These surveys must be completed and reported on by the end of December 2023.
The WPA Consultancy Services Framework (CS1) is compliant with UK/EU procurement legislation. This framework includes several potential providers who have achieved inclusion on the framework following a qualification process, however the awarded supplier has worked with the Health Board recently regarding RAAC inspections who have knowledge and experience on RAAC planking as well as the HDUHB estate.
