Description of the contract
Mae Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri yn awyddus i reoli’r Rhododendron ponticum sydd yn tyfu ar dir Hafodydd Brithion (gweler mapiau amgaeedig).
Gwahoddir i chi roi pris ar gyfer y gwaith gwaredu Rhododendron ponticum o parsel fel y disgrifir isod. Bydd angen tri gam o waith, a dylid cynnwys hyn o fewn y pris;
Cam 1
• Trin Rhododendron gan ddefnyddio chwistrellu dail neu/a thechnegau trin coesyn ledled y safle. (trin coesyn yn well) Dim chwistrellu Rhododendron dros >1.5m - trin neu torri coesyn).
• Torri'n ôl Rhododendron aml-goes trwchus (>1.5m) sydd wedi tyfu'n ôl o brysgoedio hanesyddol. (Pob rhan o waith torri i gael ei fapio gan gontractwyr ar gyfer cyfeiriadau yn y dyfodol).
- Gwaith i'w gwblhau erbyn 30 Mehefin 2024.
Cam 2 a
• Chwistrellu dail a chwynnu â llaw ar unrhyw aildyfiant neu blanhigion a fethwyd (heb law am ardaloedd sydd wedi torri yng ngham 1).
- Gwaith i'w gwblhau erbyn 30 Mehefin 2025.
Cam 2 b – (Pe bai Rhododendron yn cael ei dorri yng Ngham 1)
• Chwistrellu aildyfiant prysgoed dim cynt na 18 mis a dim hwyrach na 24 mis ar ôl cwblhau gwaith torri Cam 1. - Gwaith i'w gwblhau erbyn Ebrill 2026.
Cam 3
• Chwistrellu dail a chwynnu â llaw ar unrhyw blanhigion sy'n aildyfu neu'n cael eu methu.
- Gwaith i'w gwblhau erbyn 31 Mawrth 2027.
Snowdonia National Park Authority wish to control Rhododendron ponticum present on an area of enclosed land known as Hafodydd Brithion (see-enclosed map).
You are invited to submit separate quotes for the work of eradicating Rhododendron ponticum across the site as detailed below. It requires three phases of work that should be included in the quote:
Phase 1
•
To treat Rhododendron using foliar spraying or/and stem treatment techniques throughout the site. (stem treatment preferable) No spraying Rhododendron over >1.5m - stem treat or cut).
•
To cut back dense multi-stemmed Rhododendron (>1.5m) which has grown back from historic coppicing. All areas of cutting work to be mapped by contractors for future references.
- Work to be completed by 30th June 2024.
Phase 2 a
•Foliar spray and hand weeding on any re-growth or missed plants (except coppiced areas).
- Work to be completed by 30th June 2025.
Phase 2 b – (If Rhododendron is cut in Phase 1)
•To spray coppice regrowth (mapped during phase 1) no sooner than 18 months and no later than 24 months after Phase 1 was completed.
-Work to be completed by April 2026.
Phase 3
•Foliar spray and hand weeding on any re-growth or missed plants.
- Work to be completed by 31st March 2027.
