II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Aberdeenshire Council are inviting tenders for the provision of a Fleet Management System (including support and Maintenance) for both Aberdeenshire and Highland Councils.
It is the intention of the Council to award a contract to a single supplier for the provision of a instance for Aberdeenshire Council and an instance for Highland Council. i.e. each Council shall enter into a separate contract with the successful tenderer for the software services which are the subject matter of this procurement.
The proposed solution must be commercially available, proven in operational environments and ready for implementation with minimal configuration. Proposals that involve the design, development or custom building of a new software system will not be considered.
