Following a service specification review and a transition in funding allocation, an Urgent Award has been put in place to allow for the safe continuance of services while future services/procurement compliance is planned.
Urgent Awards for 2025/26 to allow for rescoping of the service specification and requirements to ensure an equitable service for all patients across the NENC region with hubs that can be mobilised in time to offer safe and secure services this winter pressures season. A Request for Information to inform and help scope future services was completed in November 2025.
