Abstract

Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust are seeking an innovative solution for the provision of an enhanced Pharmacy Outpatient Dispensing Services within a managed contract with one service provider. Initially the service will include dispensing out patient day case prescriptions from a purpose built on-site dispensary which must be registered as a pharmacy prior to operating. The Trust may require additional services in the future which may include by are not limited to discharge patient dispensing, home delivery services, on-site retail services or any other solution required to meet the needs of the patients. Dispensing must be compliant with statutory and professional requirements of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and General Pharmaceutical Council and all staff must be fully trained to undertake their roles and work within formalised standard operating procedures. Bidders should be aware that the Collective Redundancies and Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 may apply to this Contract.
