The Crown Prosecution Service seeks to engage the services of suitably qualified External Assessors who shall be required to:

— Independently assess the work and quality of in-house advocates in contested hearings;

— Provide reports of such assessments in accordance with the agreed criteria;

— Monitor and report on the assessment performance of the Internal Assessors; and

— Conduct a proportion of assessments to supplement those covered by IAAs to provide an independent evaluation.

The objective of this procurement is to secure a Service Provider or Providers for the continued external assessment element of in-advocates in contested cases.

This procurement shall secure the services of the External Assessors on a national basis for a two (2) year period with the option to extend for a further twenty four (24) months in up to twelve (12) month increments. Potential Providers are hereby requested to submit proposals.
