Due to the complexity of this requirement and the necessary detail of the policy wording (which is in effect the contract), CP have identified that they do not have the in house expertise to write a detailed specification that would be binding enough for members to utilise. We are therefore looking to appoint a single broker to work in collaboration with CP to develop, implement and manage the framework/DPS.
It is envisaged that this will take place via the following process:
1.Appoint a suitable broker with expertise in drafting specifications and testing insurance providers.
2.Use the appointed Broker to establish a framework/DPS and manage the call offs (in collaboration with CP).
We have outlined our requirements for both framework and DPs, in the tender specification (Schedule 4). This will be finalised following member engagement and insurer engagement with the appointed broker in 2018.
Framework option: (See regulation 33 of Public Contract Regulations 2015).
