Provision of waste and recycling collection services to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and Hart District Council (the councils) under a joint contract for a term of 8 years, subject to an option to extend for an additional 8 years, which the councils will manage under an Inter-Authority Agreement via a single joint client team. The contract also includes optional collection services for bulky waste, clinical waste, paper and cardboard (collected from bring sites) for both councils, and kerbside textile collections for Hart District Council only.

This authority will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into.
