Insurance requirements effective April 2019. The process is being run under the open procedure and is split into lots defining packaged risk classes. Please note that Applicants will be able to tender for all or any number of lots but where multiple lots are quoted, no individual lot should be held conditional on being awarded a further lot. All bidder will be subject to passing the selection criteria as defined within the contract documentation. Conditions of participation — ultimate insurance capacity must be placed with Insurance companies licensed to underwrite insurance within the UK and registered with the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority as appropriate. Any brokers submitting bids under MGA models or similar must also be registered with the Financial Conduct authority (FCA). Financial Criteria — A standard and poor credit rating (or equivalent) must be held of at least A for insurance companies.
