Abstract

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust requires the provision of a real-time patient feedback service for our acute hospital and primary care settings. Real-time feedback is defined as feedback from service users whilst they are still in receipt of care; or very shortly afterwards such as on discharge from hospital or after an outpatient appointment. We require a service which will: — support multiple methods for patients to share their feedback,

— provide an effective approach and methodology to gaining real-time feedback across all relevant services including inpatient and daycase, emergency department, outpatients, maternity and GP services,

— provide a real-time feed of FFT data and comments, which can be made publically available,

— enable the generation of timely, robust, reliable and user-friendly reports on service user experience that aid quality improvement at the service delivery level,

— generate information that provides assurance to Board on the quality of care provided,

— ensure confidentiality and anonymity to protect patient and staff identity.

The contract period will be for 3 years with an option to extend individually for a further 2 x 12 month periods at the Trust’s discretion.
