The duration of the agreement shall be for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option of two further extensions at annual intervals (1 + 1). This shall result in a contract structure of 3 + 1 + 1, any subsequent contract shall not exceed five (5) years. Extensions shall not be guaranteed and shall be confirmed by NHSPS according to market conditions, Appointed Provider performance and NHSPS requirements.
