II.1.4) Short description
Hydraulic modelling is used by NWL to analyse and predict clean water behaviour across our supply networks. It is used to determine the effect of network interventions both proactively and reactively. All modelling is currently performed with the ‘Piccolo’ software solution, provided by supplier Safege. In addition, NWL uses a software application called Strumap, provided by supplier Northgate Public Services, in order to develop flushing schemes for our clean water network.
NWL are seeking a supplier who can supply, deliver and support a replacement clean-water hydraulic modelling solution which meets the requirements set out in Section 4 of the ‘NW2086 Hydraulic Modelling Software Requirements v0.6’ document attached. It is imperative that the solution is a fully functional, readily available ‘out of the box’ solution and not custom built.
