The works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason: absence of competition for technical reasons
Explanation
A contract has been awarded to cardiac services for the supply of olympus bipolar urology resection electrodes/consumables for an 18 month period (to 31.7.2020). The original equipment was tendered and awarded to cardiac services however there is no contract coverage for the consumables. The anticipated value of the consumables for the 18 month period is estimated at 160 000 GBP. These consumables will be incorporated into a regional framework which is due for renewal in 2020. The current framework will expire in July 2020.
